Old Harbor Insurance Services, LLC has finalized an asset-purchase agreement to acquire Brown, Bacher & Walls Insurance Services, Inc. (“BBW Insurance”), effective December 31, 2025. The Hemet-based agency adds a longstanding portfolio of personal and commercial clients to Old Harbor’s expanding Southern California platform.

Brown, Bacher & Walls Insurance Services, Inc. (BBW) has been serving Southern California from their Hemet headquarters since 1977. Originally founded as “Brown and Bacher,” the agency brought on managing partner John Walls, who has stewarded the agency to new levels of success since 2003. 

Today, BBW provides a full range of insurance solutions, including auto, homeowners, renters, business, commercial auto, life & health, annuities, mobile home, R.V., and surety bonds. The agency is an authorized independent Mercury Insurance provider and has earned a reputation for personalized service, strong carrier relationships, and deep community roots.

This acquisition combines BBW’s established local presence and client relationships with Old Harbor’s expanded carrier access, technology, and support systems. Carmen Saludes — who has served BBW clients for over sixteen years — has been retained by Old Harbor and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for all.
